Assurance &
Internal Audit

At Solutional, you are able to shape your own development by gaining experience within all of our ser-vice lines, alongside excellent training and education opportunities. This allows you to develop, grow and gain experience, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Solutional consists of a young team of motivated colleagues, who describe the working atmosphere as informal, pleasant, and results-oriented.

Who are you?

You are interested in the world of Internal Audit and internal control environments of financial institutions. Over the years, you have developed your own judgment and are able to have in-depth conversations with clients. You use your opinion and critical professional attitude to guide these conversations. You come up with good proposals and you have a proactive mindset. With your work experience, you can guide an engagement team (usually consisting of 1 to 3 colleagues) and provide feedback. You are able to lead an assignment at an operational level, together with the team. You initiate the exchange of information and knowledge with the team and the client to achieve the goals. As an ambassador for Solutional, you feel comfortable conducting conversations with (potential) clients.

What will you do?

As a Supervisor, you are ultimately responsible for testing and reporting on the design, existence, and effective operation of the internal controls of our clients. This is done in the role of both internal auditor and operational auditor. You test the design and existence of control measures by conducting walkthroughs. The walkthroughs start with a conversation with the process owner of the client. You go through the control measures in order to test them in practice. After testing, you conclude whether the control measures were correctly executed. You discuss the outcome with your team and review the work of your team members. The conclusion and findings are then, together with the team, discussed with the process owner. Being Supervisor, you make sure that the files are completed and you are able to discuss this with the engagement manager and director. You serve as the first point of contact for the client and your team. You also stay informed on trends and developments within your field of expertise and other subjects relevant to your clients. As a Supervisor, you discuss their progress and development with your team members through development discussions and think along with them on how they can continue to grow.
